Brighton is the friendliest octopus to sail the seven seas. He is loveable and at 21 inches in length, he is super huggable ! Brighton wears a little felt sailors cap and has gorgeous ric-rac trimmed tentacles.
The pattern is simple to follow with diagrams to help you along the way.

Brighton is part of a seaside collection I have created that includes Sea stars, Little Boats, Pin whale and Gary & Glen the seagulls. You can find all of those patterns in my shop as well.

Brighton would be a beautiful and fun addition to a child's room or nursery. Brighton requires a tiny bit of hand sewing for his mouth and eyebrows and the rest is sewn on the machine. If you wanted to make a more feminine version you could add a bow instead of a hat !
