Description: The Blue Jacaranda erupts in beautiful long-lasting blue flowers in spring and early summer that can last for 2 months. The foliage of jacaranda are fern-like, bi-pinnate compound leaves up to 20" long. The tree can be either semi-evergreen or deciduous, depending on the climate. Jacaranda is renowned for its clusters of purple, fragrant, trumpet-shaped blossoms. The light, dappled shade makes Jacaranda well-suited for cooling patios. Jacaranda makes an ideal street tree, creating a spectacular sight when in full bloom. The arching branch habit is ideal for creating a canopy over a street or boulevard.
