When I was growing up one of my best friends at the time had a wonderful basset hound. I can remember how clumsy and adorable he was. His ears always seemed to end up in his bowl of food. My collographs are unique and based on the process and textures used the editions are very small. The smaller plates can be very time consuming because of all the tiny pieces I cut and glue to create my compositions. I usually use two plates in my process. The first one is to pull the black and white image with texture and the second plate is a way for me to add color. (the 4th thumbnail is a shot of the plate I created for this collograph). Many people like the black and whites as they are so I have decided to work on some editions that are just black and white.
