Update your MK VII gas mask bag strap to Indy spec. This strap is made from thick full grain USA vegetable tanned leather guaranteed to break in and patina, only getting better as it ages and wears. Each 1" wide strap is hand-cut from premium American heritage tannery leather. It's then dyed, the edges are burnished, a natural wax finish is applied, and the hardware is installed. The strap slide is attached with a rivet and the end loop is secured with a Chicago screw so it can be easily fitted to the bag.
This is not a cheap, mass-produced strap. It is hand-made from high-quality Hermann Oak leather tanned in St. Louis and will look and feel like the real thing because it is the real thing. Hardware is heavy duty solid brass (optional nickel plated brass).
Sizes:
Medium is a 65" strap that fits a person around 6' tall.
Small - 58"
Large - 72"
Custom - whatever you want
What size am I? I you want to find your exact size take a string and tie is to one end of your gas mask bag. Take the other end of the string and loop it through the other ring. Place the bag over your shoulder and adjust to to the height you want. Now take the remaining end of the string and bring it up on your chest to the position you want the buckle. Mark or cut the string there. Now measure the length of the string from where it ties to the bag to the end you cut and that will be your size.
Custom Features:
If you want a different color, two Chicago screws, snaps rather than screw, or anything else please feel free to send me a message and I'll let you know what I can do.
*note I recommend placing a drop of Loctite on the thread of the Chicago screw as you install it as those screws can sometimes work themselves open.
