How wide are your leashes? What colors do you regularly stock? How long are the leashes?

Our regular six foot leashes come standard in 1/2” and 3/4” width. Additional widths are sometimes available but are always considered custom orders. Our leashes come standard in Black, Royal Blue, Heavenly Blue, Cement Gray, Lavender, Neon Green Neon Orange, Neon Pink, Purple Red, Wine, and Yellow (1/2” Only)

What lengths of leash do you make?

All our leashes come in six foot lengths, and come with a handle that includes an O-Ring to allow you to wear the leash across the shoulders in a Bandoleer Style when the dog is off-leash. Additionally, we do not carry but will make custom 3/4” Biothane leashes up to fifteen feet. After fifteen feet, the 3/4” leash becomes too much of a burden to reel in and out. We do not carry but will make custom 1/2” Biothane Leashes starting at 15’. We offer lengths 15, 20, 30, 33, 40, and 50 feet. We offer the option to have a handle or no handle. We use the thinner material because it’s easier to handle and weighs less in comparison to the 3/4” Biothane. Additionally, we have Biothane Rope that we carry in stock to make any size leash.

I see the Schutzhund Tracking Leash has Frog QuikR Clasp in the picture, does this QuikR clasp come standard with all the longer leashes?

No, all our leashes comes standard with Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Gun Metal, Black Matte, or Rose Gold Plated Zinc SnapBolts. If you wish to buy a tracking leash with the QuikR Clasp, you have to choose the leash you desire & then add to cart. Once you add the leash to your cart, go back to our shop and go to the listing “MAK9 Optional Hardware Upgrade” https://etsy.me/2JEWVFP. Find the appropriate hardware you wish to upgrade and add it to your cart. •Carabiner ONLY applicable to Biothane Rope. •QuikR Rope Clip is for all Biothane Beta Rope, and the 1/2" Biothane •Black/Gold QuikR Clip is applicable to all 5/8" width Biothane Products or while supplies last. •Black/Silver QuikR Clip with MAK9 Logo is applicable to all 3/4" width.

What Colors, Widths, and Sizes are your Collars?

Our collars are for PETS ONLY! If you are looking for collars for sport or working dogs, message us directly and we will coordinate with you. Our small collars are 3/4” wide Our medium, large, and extra large collars are 1” Our pastel collars come in 3/4” for all sizes Small: 11-14.5", 3/4″ wide Medium: 13-17.5″, 1″ wide Large: 18-23.5″, 1″ wide XL: 15-26.5″, 1″ wide Solid Colors - Red, Orange, Lime Green, Royal Blue, Heavenly Blue, Purple, Hot Pink, Cement Gray, and Black. Reflective Colors - Red, Orange, Blue, Hot Pink, and Black. Sometime we carry lavender, white, shamrock green.

Do you carry any rope leashes?

Yes, we sell coated nylon rope called Biothane Rope. Our Biothane Rope comes in both 1/4” and 5/16” round in diameter. The 1/4” Rope has a break strength of 600lbs The 5/16” Rope has a break strength of 900lbs Available 1/4” Colors- Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Blue, Teal, Purple, Hot Pink, Brown, Black Available 5/16” Colors- Orange (Any other color is available for leashes greater then 25’)

Why are some of the leashes stitched and some use Chicago screws

All of our 3/4” Biothane Leashes have solid brass Chicago screws that are held together with an undisclosed type of glue. If told you how, then I wouldn’t be in business very long letting my competition know how to make the best dog leash out there. All of our 1/2” leashes are hand stitched by myself in a “DOUBLE XX” pattern unlike any other leash on the market. There is no machine can stitched the same pattern we do. We do not sell 1/2” leashes using Chicago screws because we do not want to sacrifice the integrity of the break strength. There is an additional costs to 1/2” leashes becausecause we do take the extra time to hand stitch each and every leash. We always strive for top quality in all our leashes.

What if my dog chews the leash or the leash snaps while the dog is outside tied to a fixed object, will I be able to exchange it for a new leash or collar?

Unfortunately, we do not guarantee any of our leashes & collars against a dog chewing or a leash used as a tie out. If you find a material that is chew proof, please immediately contact us so we can partner up together, patent this leash, and become millionaires together. Any leash that breaks as a result of the owner using it as a tie out will not be guaranteed and is not eligible to be returned. If you returned a leash and there is evidence of it ripping or breaking because of its use as a tie out to a pole, fence, or stake in the ground, we will not issue a return or exchange.
