This slouchy baby beanie is the perfect fall/winter hat for little trend-setters! The vibrant royal/navy blue works well for boys and girls. We drafted this pattern with a contoured top so that the back looks just as stylish as the front when draped.

-They are fully lined so that the hem can also be turned/rolled up to take up some of the slack if sizing up.

-Made from light-weight and buttery soft bamboo/organic cotton: This beanie is wonderfully silky, and drapes beautifully!

Bamboo is one of the most sustainable plants for creating fibers- it's fast growing and doesn't require harmful pesticides to thrive. It's also a great thermal regulator, feeling cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter, due to the micro pores in the bamboo fiber- great for fall and spring, as well as protecting little ears in winter. This eco-friendly material is also naturally bacteria and odor resistant.

---- A comparison of our beanie fabrics: We use three different fabric types-----------
-The bamboo blend is the softest and lightest weight, it drapes beautifully and works well transitioning between seasons. This organically grown bamboo is also one of the most sustainable plants for making fiber, its fast growing and doesn't require toxic pesticides/fertilizers to thrive......It's no secret that we LOVE bamboo!
-The organic cotton jersey is also light weight (and soft, but bamboo beats most other fibers) and matches several of our patterned legging bands.
-The organic cotton interlock is the heaviest weight, still light enough to drape (and as soft as the jersey), but provides a little more structure. This is the same fabric that we use in the plain color bands for most of our leggings, so great for building outfits. It's also a little more stretchy than the other two fabrics, so for a given size, we make these a little narrower than the other two options.

All of our beanie fabrics include spandex to ensure they don't stretch out of shape.

All our fabrics are machine washable (cold gentle cycle, phosphate-free detergent), but we do recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to best preserve your beanie shape. All fabric is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage.
