ABOUT
A French confection sought-after by true connoisseurs, Pâte de Fruits (pronounced paht de frwees), date back to the 10th century in the region of Auvergne in France. Pâte de Fruits or fruit paste, is a confectionery obtained from fruits cooked with sugar and pectin. These were originally created to preserve the peak harvest and flavor of a fruit only available for a short period of time.

OUR PROCESS
Our candies are handcrafted using traditional French confectionery techniques; in a copper jam pan and cooked slowly. To maintain a consistent product, we only use the finest fruit purées imported from France along with pure cane sugar and pectin. These simple ingredients with our detailed process produce small batches of a soft and chewy confection packed with intense, concentrated fruit flavor.

Our Pâte de Fruits are cut by hand to 3/4 inch cubes so there may be some inconsistency.

VEGAN
This product is gluten free and vegan (no bone char sugar). Unlike jelly or gummy candies, these DO NOT contain gelatin but fruit pectin.

NUTRITION FACTS
All our products are made with non-GMO ingredients, are gluten free, vegan (no bone char sugar) and no high-fructose corn syrup.

ALLERGY INFORMATION
If you have any allergies to ANY fruits whatsoever, you should not consume this product. Some flavors (lemon, blood orange, McIntosh apple, pink grapefruit) may contain Yellow 5 or Red 40. All varieties of our Pâte de Fruits are made in a facility where nuts, peanuts, wheat, eggs, dairy products are handled.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Kept below room temperature (59-65°F/15-18°C with 60-70 % humidity), the peak quality of our Pâte de Fruits are good for up to three months. Also, avoid high humidity, direct sunlight and other sources of heat. If necessary, store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.

PACKAGE SIZES
We offer our Pâte de Fruits in 9-piece (3.6oz/100g), 18-piece (7.7oz/218g) and 50-piece (22.5oz/624g) assortments. We offer multiple Classic Collections (which are assortments) as well as our Berry, Citrus, Orchard and Tropical Collections.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT SHIPPING
If your order consists solely of Pate de Fruits, we will generally ship them on the next business day the post office is open (except between Thanksgiving and Christmas). During September-December, all orders will be processed and shipped 2-6 business days from order placement via USPS Parcel Select Ground Mail. If you're concerned about time constraints, please message us.

The USPS Parcel Select Ground shipping option is less expensive than Priority shipping but may take longer to arrive. Estimated delivery time for Priority will be approximately 2-5 days (not guaranteed by USPS) for most cities in United State. Once shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Please be sure someone will be available to receive your package.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
We sell perishable food products and unless are proven to be either lost, or arrive damaged or defective, all products from our Etsy shop are sold on a non-returnable basis as these products are no longer resalable. Regarding shipping to the European Union, these non-returnable, perishable food products cannot be reused for health or hygiene reasons therefore qualify as a valid exception to the EU return policy. Please reach out to us for a suitable and reasonable solution.
