Sculptural Modern Side Table – Petrified Wood Top, Carved and Painted Wood Base
Item highlights
Seller's description
Pedestal side table in carved and painted poplar with a petrified wood top; a truly one of a kind piece. The entire surface of the carving has a dynamic surface texture of hand carved tool marks. The petrified wood is a slice of the end of a petrified log, and features the rings of the tree, internal crystals, and mottled colors of agate in portions of the fossilized wood. The petrified wood is related to modern fir and sequoia, and is from Madagascar, from a reputable and legal source. The poplar wood is American grown tulip poplar.
This piece looks great in an entryway or foyer, for displaying a unique vase, sculpture, a special plant or flower arrangements. I can also make this design with a wood top instead of petrified wood. For example, I have made previous versions of this table with a curly maple top.
Dimensions: 36" high x 19.25" wide x 13" deep.

If you are interested in a custom version of this table design - custom height, custom color, different type of stone or wood for the tabletop - please contact me to discuss options. My specialty is custom and one-of-a-kind pieces.
