This is a truly versatile item. The Bridge can be used on its own over a window or doorway so your cat can keep an eye on their surroundings while being up high in a safe space. Our cat, Ickle, loves to sleep in the center of the bridge. You can also incorporate the Bridge as a part of a full setup or as a way to cross over to other surfaces.
Our latest collection has been meticulously engineered to be the strongest and most versatile collection we’ve produced to date. Instead of pine, we now use bamboo which is an incredibly strong material that had allowed for a thinner and sleeker design. We also added an additional mounting point underneath each Mounting Plank which will provide extra support and hold the furniture rock solid against the wall.

*Are your studs 24″ apart?
Our products are designed to mount into studs at 16″ apart on-center. If your studs are not 16″ apart, please contact us before your purchase and we can help you out! Please note that additional materials may need to be purchased.
Please keep in mind that when you install any of our wall-mounted cat furniture you are accepting the risk of a cat falling off, and potentially hurting themselves. We have done extensive testing to develop features to prevent this such as additional traction on the top of our bamboo pieces, appropriate width for all Hammocks and Shelves, and offering Cork Pads for grip. Although we try our best to accommodate all cats, every cat is different and you will know your cat and their capabilities the best. If you have an older cat who may be clumsy or less agile, we recommend starting with furniture that is mounted closer to the ground to avoid possible accidents.
Please also bear in mind that with roped Cat Bridges, there is slightly more potential for accidents. After selling more than 8000 Cat Bridges over the last nine years, we can confidently say that we have only heard of one occurrence of a cat getting tangled in the rope. Thankfully, the cat was perfectly fine after the experience. Due to this feedback, we wanted to add a disclaimer to our Bridges so that all customers can make an informed purchase.
The Cat Bridge is also available using paracord instead of twine, for a more durable option designed for cats that like to chew on things. Our company began in 2013, when we started building unique furniture concepts for our cats. We have always put a big focus on our testing process, which has been a very large part of our success. After we construct our prototypes, we install them in our home for a six-month period to see how our cats use the furniture, and look for opportunities to improve the design prior to production.
For the first six years, we did all the design, woodwork, staining, and assembly ourselves, but as demand grew we had to expand into working with production partners to keep up with orders. Today, we design, prototype and test all concepts at our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Once the designs are finalized, we work with manufacturing partners located in Michigan, India, and China. The raw parts are shipped to our shop in Grand Rapids and our team assembles the furniture and ships it out worldwide.
