A beautiful piece that shows off the artistic pride of the traditional Portuguese town of Povoa, this is created from 100% handwoven, upcycled cotton material from Portugal and sewn in the USA and Portugal.

This traditional Portuguese blanket is similar in design to a Mexican Falsa or serape blanket, or other southwestern, native, or "Aztec" styled blankets, but with much higher quality materials.

Featuring an extra durable, tight weave construction with raised threading, this is great for use as an outdoor yoga blanket / yoga mat / yoga rug, as the raised & ribbed texture helps prevent slipping while practicing. Its extra tight weave also means it doesn't trap sand or dirt like other blankets do, making it perfect for use as a beach blanket, picnic blanket, or camping blanket. You can even use its bright colors to accent a home wonderfully as a decorative throw!

Currently offered in two different sizes:
-a "half size" which is approximately the size of a yoga mat: 29" x 84"
-a "full size" which is approximately 59" x 85" and is great for a beach blanket, camping picnic blanket, or home throw

These are the best yoga blankets I have found. Very high quality and exactly as shown on the Etsy site. The blankets are made from tightly woven 100% cotton. The colors are lovely. Note: Most yoga blankets are made of an acrylic blend. These blankets are a bit more expensive than most acrylic blend blankets due to superior material and workmanship. Shipping was very fast.

The colors in this are beautiful! It's a thick, sturdy weave but still fine enough to feel soft. Love to use this as a minimalist bolster in my yoga practice or as a blanket on it's own. I expect to use this for many years to come!
