This mini zine came about from my listening to nature sounds mingled with other sounds (the first bus of morning, a dog barking) when lying awake on a summer night. It's an essay about the zen of listening, and the mindfulness practice of tuning into the quiet things that can get lost in the bustle and noise of the daytime.

And it has lots of pictures on its 16 tiny pages.

It measures just 2-3/4" wide by 2-1/8" high, with folded edges on the light gray cover. Hand-bound with a simple pamphlet stitch and linen thread.

It comes in a little glassine envelope, sealed with a round sticker featuring my drawing of a cricket on a light green background. It would make a sweet little gift, and is easily mailed with a card.
