Personalization options are available including 3D raised acrylic name/wording (even if some picture examples show painted) and raised acrylic 3D image - unless otherwise requested.
All boards are sealed for protection and durability.
** VERY IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING PAINT AND NATURAL WOOD IMPERFECTIONS **
Growth charts are constructed of furniture grade spruce however, as wood is a natural product, each piece WILL have varying knots and imperfections.
We have 3 oil based stains and 3 water based paint options to choose from. Please note that paint emphasizes knots and surface textures. It DOES NOT hide or fill these areas. Character in the wood WILL show. There is a listing photo which shows some examples of how knots look on a painted board. Please note that these examples are not exhaustive as each piece of wood varies from one to the next. If you wish to see more examples please message us for photo examples prior to ordering. The oil based stains (grey, medium and dark) provide a more natural look if you are concerned about the knots and texture variations in the wood as the stain accentuates the beauty of the wood instead of covering it like paint does. By choosing a PAINT option, you are acknowledging that you are aware and accept that your board will have varying knots and imperfections as described above. Please don't hesitate to contact us first if you would like to see examples of the boards we have on hand in your preferred color choice.
*If you have paid for additional customization (name &/or image) please note the following in the notes to seller at checkout:
1. Placement preference for name (default placement is side top end, if a preference is not noted on your order)
2. Font for name/wording (default font is Arial, if a preference is not noted on your order)
3. Image Choice (please let us know if you want the image in a swatch chosen color. If a color isn't noted, the image color will match the default numbers color. Wording color is not an option as the 3D wording can’t be painted. Color choice is for the image only
4. Please provide a phone number that we can contact you at if further clarification is needed on your order. This is also provided to the shipping company if clarification is needed for delivery of your order.
**** Growth chart customization including the addition of a name and image must be chosen from the ‘3D options’ drop down menu. The drop down choice of ‘3D #s only’ will NOT have an image or name included. You must choose the option to include a name and/or image if you would like those customizations on the growth chart. ****
Important Information regarding Name Customization:
NAMES/WORDING CANNOT BE PAINTED IN A PREFERRED COLOR. NAMES/WORDING ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IN BLACK OR WHITE. ONLY THE 3D IMAGES CAN BE COLOR PERSONALIZED.
NAVY PAINTED/WHITE PAINTED AND PINK PAINTED BOARDS WILL BE IN 3D RAISED ACRYLIC NUMBERS, NOT PAINTED.

Stain Choice / Number Color:
Please choose your preferred stain/paint color and number choice from the drop down menu ‘stain/number color’
Please note:
Choosing ‘grey stain / white #s’ will result in a grey stain growth chart with white numbers
Choosing ‘grey stain / black #s’ will result in a grey stain growth chart with black numbers
If a name and/or image is being added to the growth chart, they will be in the same color as the chosen number color. 3D wording can not be painted.
** Our items are not stained on the backsides. Due to the nature of the items hanging on the wall, it prevents the stain from rubbing off onto surfaces.
For example:
If black numbers are chosen, the added name and image will also be in black
If white numbers are chosen, the added name and image will be in white
- IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION & INSTALLATION -
• All boards are hand selected for quality but please keep in mind that as wood is a natural product the character of every board is different and will have varying imperfections, ie. knots, holes, texture difference. We try to showcase variations in our photos but we are not able to capture every possibility. Please contact us with your preferences and request photos, if you are concerned about this.
• There is a swatch photo on the listing to show the different stain and paint options. As wood is a natural product, shading may vary slightly from board to board. Please also keep in mind that screen settings on your phone or computer can have an impact the color you are seeing.
• Growth charts measure 6ft x 5.5 inches x 1 inch. They are sanded and stained by hand. All boards are sealed for protection and durability.
•The numbers begin at the 6-inch mark, to allow for baseboards or carpet. Since growth charts are hung on the wall, they are not stained on the back.
• For safety purposes we provide screws and recommend screwing the growth charts at the top and bottom into a stud in your wall. This keeps little ones from pulling the board off the wall and onto themselves. If you prefer not to drill into the wall we have found that velcro strips can also be used as a hanging option.
- SHIPPING -
Made-to-order items are securely shipped, and typically arrive within 6 business days once shipped. Tracking numbers are provided once the item(s) have been shipped.
For items being shipped outside of Canada, buyers are responsible for any customs fees assessed and the seller holds no liability for other charges.
*** Free shipping guarantee includes a covered shipping cost of up to $35. If shipping charges are over $35, the shop reserves the right to reach out to the customer to cover additional charges. This is often the case in non-mainland, remote or rural locations. If there are additional charges, we will reach out prior to starting your order so you can decide if you wish to pay the difference and proceed with your order.

- RETUN POLICIES -
Personalized items are non-refundable. For non personalized items, simply send us a message within 3 days of receipt stating the specific problem. Items must be in new condition and not used and customer will be responsible for any additional return shipping charges. We are always happy to find a resolution! If your item arrives damaged, please contact us with photos so we can file a damage claim with the shipper and sort out a replacement solution.
