All my nail sets come with a packet of these gentle sticky gel pads as standard. If you buy more than one set of nails, there will be one packet of gel pads per set of nails included in your parcel.

Of course my nails are re-usable so when you run out of the sticky gel pads you can order more here. This listing is for one packet but you can add more to your order if desired.

TO APPLY the nails: first ensure that your own natural nails are clean and dry. It is recommended to cleanse the nail plate by rubbing with a little acetone or rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) to ensure it is free of oils.

Although the nail packs include a complimentary nail file, this is for SHAPING your natural and false nails, DO NOT use it to buff the top of your nail surface, as this is not needed and is harmful to the health of your natural nails.

Select the nail size that best fits the nail, you can file down the edges of a larger one if you are between sizes.

Select a sticky gel pad that best fits the nail. It doesn't have to cover the entire nail, peel it from the backing sheet, keeping the plastic tab part attached for now.

Place the gel pad on the nail and press down firmly on the plastic tab backing to ensure its securely adhered to your nail, then peel off the plastic tab.

Next place the chosen false nail over your nail and the gel pad, ensure its lined up as you wish then press down firmly and hold for a couple of seconds.

Avoid getting your hands greasy/oily or submerging them in hot water for too long while wearing the falsies.

I advise to carry the small packet of gel pads in your pocket or purse in case you manage to pop a nail off, so you can quickly and easily re-attach it.

TO REMOVE: fill a sink or bowl with hand-hot water, feel free to add a little bubble bath, bath oil, mani bomb or other relaxing treatment if desired. Soak your hands for a while and gently use the orange wood stick supplied to prise the false nail off.

Alternatively you can rub in (or soak) the nails in a little cuticle oil or even olive oil to instantly release the adhesive.

Next peel the used up gel pad from each nail and discard. Ensure the falsies are clean and dry (rub with alcohol but NOT acetone to cleanse any oil off the falsies) and keep them in an envelope or similar to re use again another time.

*ACETONE WILL DESTROY THE FALSE NAILS!*

Once you have removed the false nails remember to treat your natural nails to some good cuticle oil and hand moisturiser to finish.

Unlike traditional nail glue, these gel pads are gentle on your nails and should not remove layers of your natural nail even if accidentally ripped off, allowing your natural nails to grow long and strong.

you will notice that there are more than 10 nails per set - a variety of sizes is included to suit most nail sizes from petite to broad. You can gently file down the edges of a close fitting nail to acheive a perfect fit if needed, if you have a friend with larger or smaller nails than you then you could even share the set with them :)

these false nails should be able to be re-used if cared for gently. I enclose gentle gel sticky pads to affix them to your nails, these sticky gel pads won't harm your natural nails like some glues can, and provide a degree of shock absorbtion against knocks as there is a little "give" in the gel. To remove just soak off in hand-hot water and peel away the sticky pad. The advantage of these is also that if you are out and about and a nail comes loose then you can carry a packet of the sticky pads in your bag and quickly and easily re-attach the nail with no mess.

although I enclose gentle sticky gel pads to attach the false nails to your own natural nails, you can of course choose to use regular nail glue to fix them instead, however unlike the gel pads which soak off in warm water, nail glue will only soak off in acetone, which will destroy the false nail itself and you won't be able to re-use them if you do this.

When using the supplied sticky gel pads I recommend using washing up gloves when immersing your hands in hot water to prevent premature removal, Also be aware that acetone will destroy the design. If used gently however you should get a couple of uses out of these.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE RE: shipping to GERMANY**: Unfortunately new laws have been introduced which prevent many small makers from being permitted to import goods to Germany. Only American Etsy users are able to untick a single country on their shipping list. The rest of us would have to create a separate shipping profile for EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY ON EARTH, for EVERY SINGLE ETSY LISTING, one by one, except for Germany, which is an impossible task.
