If you are trying to decide which base to choose, the Rosewood is one of my favorites. It has a dense weight and deep, rich color that is very elegant and professional looking.

The model is made from real, once-fired brass. No plastic or reproduction parts are used. As once-fired components, some cases might have small dings or dents. This is completely natural part of the firing process and provide a more authentic look to the display. All the components and the models themselves are 100% American made.

Each of our Patented* designs are meticulously hand fitted together in order to maximize its visual impact. Each component (the primer cup, anvil, cartridge case, gunpowder, and bullet) have been expanded out along a central axis and in an order to show how and where they fit together to make a live "round" of ammunition.

The display is made using a solid core design to ensure durability. The unique appearance of the powder is created using a proprietary bonding technique that I developed to keep the SimPowder suspended in shape. All models are 100% inert and safe to handle.

Each display is handmade to order and this is the reason for the long processing time. Typically, it will take about 3 weeks to produce a model, but during the holiday seasons, lead times can grow exponentially. As with any handmade work, there will be variation from piece to piece and no two will ever look exactly the same.

Due to the natural growth of wood, the appearance of the wood bases (grain patterns, figuring, coloration, etc.) will vary from piece to piece.

As all products are handmade-to-order, they are subject to a 3-6 week processing/build time. Once your order is complete in full and shipped, delivery can take from 2-10 days domestic (more for international shipping) depending on the type of shipping you purchased at checkout.

Priority Shipping takes 2-3 day for delivery, but, according to the US Post Office, that is NOT A GUARANTEE.

SHIPPING DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY within one (1) day of delivery. The Buyer must include photographs of the packaging where damage is located, as well as any damage incurred to the items within the packaging. In the case of shipping damages, the Buyer will photographically document, the items condition as it was received, before full unpacking. Damages resulting from shipping are ultimately the liability of the United States Post Office (USPS) and the Buyer should to file a damage claim directly with the USPS (https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm). However, the Seller may work with Buyer to ensure a satisfactory resolution.

Possibly, it depends on the time of year and the current workload in the shop. As everything is handmade-to-order, i might be too busy to add in additional work. If it's possible, there will be an additional fee based on the timeframe needed by and current levels of work. In general, rush fees begin at $35. Please contact me with the specific item you would like for the associated rush fees.

Individual orders may be canceled for full refund within 24 hours of purchase. As these items are made-to-order, cancellations requests made after 24 hours may be subject to a 25% cancelation fee or be denied outright. Any cancellation requests made after an order has been packaged and readied for shipment will be outright denied. Large orders (consisting of four or more), discounted items, custom and/or special orders involving any type of customization or personalization, or returns resulting from an approved exchange request, will not be canceled under any circumstances.

Refund requests placed within three (3) days of delivery will be accepted without question or refusal. However, it is requested the Buyer supply the seller with the reason for the return. The Buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs, and may be subject to a 35% restocking fee. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item(s) ordered and after verification that the product(s) has not been altered, damaged, of mutilated in any way. Returned items must be received in a pristine and resellable condition. After three (3) days, ALL SALES ARE FINAL, and refunds will not be issued.

Exchange requests within three (3) days of delivery are accepted. The Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees, cost differences, and may be subject to a 35% restocking fee. Additional processing times will occur.
