The back is super soft Minky fabric. All the activities are securely attached and includes A soft faux fur to feel,a pretty pocket for tissues or treasures, a working zipper with tassel pull, a working buckle clip, a bow with loopy ribbons, bracelets and tic tac toe game to keep those busy hands busy.

I bought this for my mom, because I can't see her. The caregivers say that she fiddles with it a lot and that it is well made. I, personally have not seen it yet.
I purchased a custom activity blanket for my Mom who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's. The blanket is beautiful and well made, and even included a lovely handwritten card from KCW that meant so much to me and my family. I received the blanket within a week of my order and was absolutely thrilled. All the special touches and embroidery we had discussed were on included, and everything is secured very well so it can't be pulled off. I took it to my Mom this weekend and she has been actively "fidgeting" with it every day, exploring all the tactile sensations/activities until she gets tired and falls asleep. It has been a Godsend for my family, and provides my sweet Mom with something she can do to busy her hands. I highly recommend this product.
