Everyone's favorite polonium-infused drink, now in a fun rocket-shaped bottle!
This full-scale, fully assembled and polished replica is based on the Fallout 4 version of the drink and is cast in a translucent urethane resin that has been pigmented with UV additives to make it glow under ultraviolet light.
FEATURES:
* Made from durable urethane resin
* UV pigmented, glows under UV light!
* Polished surface looks like a real glass bottle finish
* Finished bottle has a polished-over seam line to mimic mold-blown glass bottles. For a seamless bottle, the kit can be purchased and sanded.
KIT INFORMATION:
Like to build and mod stuff yourself? The Kit version contains everything you need to finish your own Nuka Cola Quantum:
1x translucent blue UV-reactive rocket bottle
1x aluminum-coated bottle cap
1x set of pre-cut adhesive vinyl labels (includes extras)
The unfinished kit can be sanded to remove the seam line from the casting process if desired (feel free to leave the seam line for a more realistic glass-bottle look!).
To fully complete this kit, you'll need a few things:
* Sandpaper (ranging from 220-grit to 1000-grit)
* Buffing/polishing compound (or an electric buffer)
* Glue
* Heat gun (or other heat source) for applying vinyl labels
* #0000 steel wool or metal polish (for polishing bottle cap)
Applying the label:
1. The vinyl label should be stuck down from one side and peeled off the backing a little at a time as it is being applied (this prevents too much stretching or warping).
2. Press down across the center of the label as it's applied. The top and bottom will be loose at first, but we'll heat gun them to shrink them down after the label is stuck on.
3. After the label is on the bottle, lightly heat gun one side of the label, 1-2 inches at a time, and use a silicone squeegee or the back of your fingernail to smooth the vinyl down and work out any wrinkles that form.
4. Repeat the heating/squeegee method all around the edges of the label until it sits flush with the bottle, and congrats, you're done!
