“Meet Belle the Butterfly! While most of her friends could be called ‘social little butterflies,’ Belle prefers quiet days at home. She loves to read books and though she hasn’t told anyone yet, she has begun to write a book of her own! The title of her book is, From Caterpillar to Butterfly: My Life Story... but you’ll have to wait until it’s published to learn more!”

Create your own little butterfly in just a couple hours! This easy-to-follow pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions and lots of progress pictures explaining how to crochet and assemble all the parts to make this butterfly.

The following crochet stitches are used in this pattern: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increasing and decreasing.

Materials You Will Need:
• Crochet hook size: 3.75mm
• #4/worsted/medium weight yarn*: pink, white, and 1 strand of black for the eye detail
• Yarn needle
• One pair of 12 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiber fill stuffing
• White sewing thread
• Sewing needle
• Black embroidery floss
