I make these stockings from my own pattern. The fabric is the same on the front and back of the stocking, although pattern placement will vary, and I add ribbon to both sides. The stocking is fully lined on the inside with no exposed edges and there is batting concealed in the front panel to hold it's shape and give it thickness.

The stocking measures about 16 inches from the top to the bottom of the heel, and approximately 11 inches from the heel to the toe. The opening at the top is about 8 inches wide. All fabric is 100% cotton.
