Fractures or Pitting in a Stone

It is very common for Agates to contain visible "fractures". They are part of the agates formation and history of glacial movement from millions of years ago. Likewise, "pits" in a stone are either due to the natural stone shape or due to loss of elements during processing. These natural features do not diminish the beauty of a piece or an indication of compromise to the structure of the stone. Agates are some of the hardest stones you'll find in this area.

Where is my Store Located

I am flattered by the requests to come to my store! The good news is: you're already here! Collecting, polishing and cutting agates is my hobby. Because this is just my hobby, and this is my only "store" I am able to keep my prices very affordable. I have found that having my stonework made into jewelry and selling them here to be a fun way to share my hobby with you. I hope you find something that you LOVE!

CUSTOM WORK AND ORDERS

Custom silver work requests of all kinds, INCLUDING RESIZING, are NOT possible for several reasons. One reason is that my silversmith friend and I do not live near each other. Also, this is a hobby for both of us, we don't do this all year long. So the shipping and time invested in altering a piece would cause a long wait for you and be expensive for us all. Also, there’s a good chance the stone will pop out or break from the heat of resizing a ring. We hope you find something you love! However, If you wish to have custom silver work done to a piece you could discuss it with your local jeweler before purchase. Keep in mind, pieces altered after purchase are NOT returnable.
