What can I do with the digital prints?

Let your imagination run wild! You can print them out on fine paper then frame them, decorate a notebook with them, or turn them into cards! The only thing you can NOT do is sell any of it.

How do I take care of my mug?

It depends on the mug! Some of them can go through the dishwasher (straight white ones), and others must be hand-washed (colored curved ones). See each listing for details about care (and each mug has a care card inside of it when sent out). If you'd like a dishwasher safe version of a round mug and one doesn't already exist, shoot us a message and we'd be happy to design one for you!

Can I tweak my mug or sign just a little bit?

Most likely! Most items are made to order, so we have no problem making small adjustments (e.g., changing a word or two) for you. Just send us a message and we'll let you know within 24 hours if we can make it happen. Please note that we occasionally love the custom designs we end up with, and therefore reserve the right to add any custom orders to our permanent collection!

Do the signs come with hanging materials?

Depending on the sign, we will either: attach hanging materials for you to apply or apply them ourselves (if it requires a staple gun). When you purchase a sign, you are acknowledging that we are not responsible for any hanging related problems (e.g., sign falling/breaking). Consider our hanging materials only a suggestion, and therefore you should hang your sign in the way that is safest for your home.

What are my options for gift wrapping?

We know that many of our items are purchased as gifts, and so we do our best to facilitate that. Our mugs are wrapped in two layers of tissue paper and then placed in a gift box that is sealed with pretty washi tape. Our notebooks are wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon. Our signs are wrapped in tissue paper with a colorful panel in the middle. We are always happy to include a little hand written note on your behalf, so if you'd like us to add one, please just note this in the "instructions to seller." If it's clear it's a gift (e.g., gift option is selected, sender and recipient names are different), then we include a little "From: [sender's name]" so they know who to thank! By default, our packages do not include invoices.

What are my options for discrete packaging?

If for any reason (e.g., safety, excitement about gift) you'd like us to include a "You Got a Gift!" sticker on your package, please just let us know in the instructions to seller. By default, there are no invoices included in the package, but there may be some indication that you purchased it (e.g., a note that says "Dear Yara, Thank you for your order!"). If you'd prefer the sticker on the box and no note, that's possible, too! Just let us know what you need and we'll do our best to accommodate it.

What's the deal with the charities?

From 07/2017-04/2019, 20% of our profits were donated to various causes promoting the major themes of our shop: social justice, science, and self-care! We hope to be able to bring this back soon and are always open to any of your suggestions regarding charities or causes that fit this criteria.
