Edwardian 1910's Wedding Gown Dress Ecru Silk, Lace, Soutache Size S/XS

This is an authentic wedding gown from the 1910's made of flowing ecru/cream colored silk charmeuse. It has a wide waistband that gathers into a floral knot in the back. The short sleeves are horizontally pleated and have wide bodice overhanging collar across the shoulders forming a V front and back. It has bodice inserts front and back of tissue silk with sheer sewn/pleated silk over that with lace and soutache embroidery on top. Stunning details and a simple long skirt with slight train in the back.
It is 100% silk and has hook and eye closure hidden down the back.

condition: fair. AS IS. staining on the silk body and the tissue silk and pleated fabric under the lace/soutache bodice is shredding. as well as the pleated chiffon on the sleeves. The Good News is that the silk body of the dress has no holes and the staining looks like it can be removed by a gentle soak in some protein cleaner.
My assessment for possible reconstruction would be as follows: I would remove the pleated chiffon trim and the bodice inserts in order to safely clean the silk garment. I believe the lace and soutache embroidery can be removed from the bodice and reattached to a new silk bodice panel in front and back. Those are hand sewn in and could easily be removed.

If nothing else, it would make a beautiful display piece or piece to study.
