Keep cozy in the cold with cute, cuddly mittens. MOONSTONE is a fast, functional knit that uses less than one skein of DK weight yarn. The textured pattern works up great with solids, tonals, and variegated yarns. Snag a skein from an indie dyer, and cast on! The pattern works up perfectly using DPNs, magic loop, and mini circulars.

Craft: Knitting

Skills required: Knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing, double pointed needles or magic loop.

Requires: approximately 155 yards of DK weight yarn.

Finished size: 9.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide. One size fits most women. Some small adjustments for bigger or smaller mittens included.

A delightful and well constructed pattern. A real joy to knit, as the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I would say that this pattern is best suited for advanced beginner and up. Additionally, the pattern’s creator is excellent at answering any questions the knitter may have, regarding the pattern. I highly recommend this pattern.
