The hat I made for my 5 year old nephew also fit me and I'm 27 years old! It's stretchy!

NOTES
-You will need approximately 300 yards of yarn for this hat and will fit a child to adult
-This hat measures 22 inches around the head
-This hat works in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker
-It’s best to sew round 1 of the INNER HAT to the inside of round 1 of the OUTER HAT, and then add stuffing between the two hats and stick a ball or another skein of yarn in the INNER HAT as you are stuffing and sewing everything closed. If that does not make sense, please contact me on Facebook and I will try to explain it better.
-The Vest is worked in 3 parts, the back first, then the front left and the front right. You will sew up the seams and shoulders.
-In the written instructions below, the number at the end of the round or row in the parenthesis () is the number of stitches you should end up with on that row.

Materials You will need:
-Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in White and Red for the hat
-Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Royal and Gold for the vest
-Size H-5.00mm Crochet Hook
-Polyfil Stuffing
-Yarn Needle
-Scissors
Special stitches:
Ch(s): chain(s)
YO: Yarn Over
St(s): Stitch(es)
BLO: Back Loop Only
Sl st: slip stitch
SK: Skip
SC: Single Crochet
SC2TOG: Insert Hook in previous stitch, YO, pull through, Insert hook in next st, YO pull through, YO pull through all 3 loops on your hook.
HDC: Half Double Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
DC2TOG: Double Crochet Decrease
FPDC: Front Post Double Crochet
BPDC: Back Post Double Crochet
