Description

The reproduction image is a professionally photographed image of the original painting. The images are the highest quality, and the colors of the reproductions are the exact copy of the original. I use high quality professional services for photographing and printing the images. The ink is museum quality, archival, which means it doesn’t fade over time. The colors are, and remain, vibrant.

Canvas prints are printed on the best quality canvas available: Archival Matte Canvas. If you wish, I can stretch the canvas on a frame. See under "Buyers can request customization." Stretching canvas on stretcher bars starts at $30 per item in addition to the price of the print, and goes up with the size of the frame (canvas print size). For a 12" x 12" canvas print it is $30, which is one square foot, and the price goes up proportionately with the size. With stretched canvases, there is a shipping cost as well since shipping a stretched canvas would cost more than shipping in a tube. If stretching is not requested, the canvas is rolled up and you can stretch it yourself or find a professional to do it for you on a stretching bar (frame) that you would like to choose. Most art stores offer that service. I use 1.5” deep canvas stretching bars that are very sturdy and will not bend. Canvas prints are varnished with Satin UV protecting coating that will protect the image for many lifetimes. Giclée canvas reproductions come with a certificate of authenticity.

Paper prints are printed with the same quality ink on Archival Fine Art Paper, which is German Etching Matte. German Etching paper is distinguished as the highest standards of craftsmanship, made of cotton. The paper is lightfast and acid-free, crafted to resist deterioration for centuries. Paper prints are always advised to be framed under glass. I send both paper and canvas prints covered with a protective Glassine Paper. Prints are not matted for the convenience of shipping, but carefully rolled up in a tube making sure that they arrive in perfect condition. Paper prints also come with a certificate of authenticity.
