Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because each of our items is handcrafted to order, we do not accept returns unless there is a defect or issue with your item. We do, however, gladly accept exchanges if you need a different size or style. Before sending anything back, please contact us. A few notes to keep in mind: * Items must be in new, unworn condition. * Moccasins that have been worn outdoors are not eligible for exchange. * Items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect the item, your exchange will be processed within five business days. We’re a small, family-run shop rooted in faith and craftsmanship—thank you for understanding and supporting what we do.

How do I know what size to order?

We recommend checking our size charts to find your best fit before ordering. If your measurements don’t appear on the chart, don’t worry—we include custom measuring instructions in every moccasin listing. And if you’re still unsure, we’re just a message away and happy to help. Because each pair is handmade just for you, custom-sized moccasins are not returnable. It’s completely normal for your moccasins to feel a bit snug at first. Our moccasins are made using a soft, unstructured method that allows the leather to naturally stretch and mold to your feet. Wear them indoors for a few hours and you’ll start to feel them settle in and become uniquely yours.

Do the Handle Holders fit all cast iron cookware?

Our Black Jacket Tackle Handle Holders are handcrafted to fit our own well-seasoned collection of Lodge cast iron cookware, and they work beautifully with most standard cast iron pieces. That said, every pan and pot has its own character—so if you’ve got something unique, we’re happy to consider a custom-fit option just for you. If you’d like to request a custom handle holder for a specific piece of cookware, send us a message. If the project’s a fit, we’ll let you know about any extra lead time or pricing changes.

How do I measure my feet for moccasins?

We recommend doing a simple foot tracing to get the most accurate fit. Just stand barefoot on a sheet of paper and trace around each foot, keeping your pen or pencil upright as you go. Once traced, measure the length from your longest toe to your heel, and the width across the widest part of your foot (just below the toes). Please send these measurements in centimeters or millimeters—whichever is easier for you. These details help us double-check sizing for your order, or create a custom-sized pair just for you.

How do I measure my instep?

The instep is key for a proper fit—especially with moccasins. To measure it, start on the outside of your foot, just in front of the ankle bone. Using a soft tape measure or string, wrap up and over the top of your foot (again, just in front of the ankle), and down to the floor on the inside. You should end up with a “rainbow” shape over your foot. We ask for this measurement in centimeters or millimeters on all custom moccasin orders. If it’s missing, we’ll pause your order until we receive it—so don’t skip it! Need help? Reach out—we’re happy to guide you or send a visual reference.

Do you accept custom or personalized orders?

We’re happy to consider custom requests beyond what’s listed in each item’s description. Custom and personalized orders may take up to 5 additional business days beyond our standard processing time—depending on the complexity and item type. Please note: all custom items are final sale and not eligible for return. For custom-sized moccasins, we require detailed foot tracings and instep measurements before we can begin crafting. Measurements must be provided in centimeters or millimeters for the most accurate fit. Orders without this information will be placed on hold until everything is received. If you have a vision or request, reach out—we’ll do our best to make it happen.

How do I care for my leather goods?

Suede should be brushed gently to lift the nap and spot cleaned with a suede eraser or vinegar-dampened cloth. Let air dry if wet. Dakota and Vanguard's oil-tanned finish can be wiped clean with a dry cloth and conditioned with balm as needed. Outlander and Nomad's leather, more refined, benefits from occasional conditioning with a neutral balm and cleaning with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and direct heat with all leathers. Each will age naturally and develop a beautiful patina unique to your wear.

When will my order ship?

All of our leather goods are handcrafted after you place your order. Our typical processing time is 5–10 business days, but this may vary depending on the item and order volume. We’ll always do our best to keep you updated along the way!

Our Nomad moccasin is a wonderful moccasin for outdoor adventures! Featuring a buttery soft, supple grained leather that feel luxurious on the foot. The exterior is a lightly grained leather with a finish coat applied at the factory to even out color, while the interior is a soft suede that is very soft on the skin and can be turned down. With a slight stretch, these moccasins feel perfect almost immediately, with very little time needed to break in. The soles are our bullhide leather that is thick enough to offer protection from sticks and stones, yet supple enough to flex and give you an incredible feel of the earth. Premium leather laces are then wrapped around the ankle to keep the flaps closed and debris out. Each pair of our moccasins ships out in our branded canvas bag and tied with suede lace.

Each pair of moccasins is handmade, one at a time, in our home workshop. Our standard sizes require up to 10 business days, and custom sizes require up to 14 business days to complete. Shipping domestically is by the USPS and can take 1-3 days after our processing times. We strive to make or beat our times, however sometimes things happen beyond our control. We will do our best to update you on any delays through Etsy's messaging service. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

PLEASE NOTE:
*Due to the nature of leather, moccasins are intended for natural outdoor environments. Surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, etc. may cause premature wear.
*Our leather soles may become smooth with wear and may become slippery when wet or on smooth surfaces. Please exercise extreme caution in these situations.
* Our leather may feature scars, brand marks, insect bites and other imperfections. We believe these marks add beauty and character to our products. We will not use pieces where the structural integrity is questionable.

CUSTOM MOCCASIN INFORMATION:
We are happy to create a pair of moccasins created just for you! We need additional information, and we cannot proceed without all the necessary measurements. Custom moccasins are NONREFUNDABLE, however we will work with you to get a perfect fit. For the necessary information, please follow the steps below.

1. Stand on a piece of paper. Using a pencil, trace around each foot. Keep the pencil tight to the foot without going under (especially in the heel area).

2. Measure length of the foot from the heel to the longest toe. Measure the width of the foot at the ball, just below the toes, at the widest part of the foot. Write these numbers down on the corresponding tracing. We prefer centimeters as it is far more accurate.

3. Measure the instep of each foot. Now this measurement can be tricky, but we do not want a circumference (all the way around). We need only a rainbow over the top of the foot. Contact us if you need clarification. Use a soft tape measure or a string and ruler. Start at the floor on the outside of the foot, just in front of the ankle. Take the tape over the tallest part of the foot and back to the floor just in front of the ankle on the inside of the foot. The tape should be snug but not tight. Write this measurement down for each corresponding tracing.

4. These tracings with all measurements will need to be sent to us. Please contact us for information on mailing tracings.
