Can I customize my decal?

Absolutely! Each listing already has customization options built into it, such as sizing and color options. If you would like to change something about the design, do a custom word or phrase, or if you would like the words separated out so they are individual stickers, those would all fall into a custom order design. Contact me prior to purchasing a decal to have something made just for you, I'm happy to do it! Custom work will almost always have a cost added to it.

Will your decal stick to all types of paint?

Not always. It is best to use a paint that is not advertised as being "stain resistant", "stain blocking", or "non-staining". People love stain-resistant paint because it makes it easy to wipe things off the walls such as crayon and marker, but that also means it's hard to stick things to the walls. For this reason, the wall decals may not stay on the walls for an extended period of time, and may not even stick upon application. Also, it's best to let a newly painted wall dry and settle for 2-3 weeks prior to applying a wall decal.

Are your wall decals removable?

Yes! The water-based adhesive used on the decals has enough "sticky" in it to stay on your walls for up to three years, but can also be easily removed without damaging your paint so long as instructions are followed during application.

Are your wall decals reusable?

No. They can be removed from the walls very easily, however, once they are removed they can not be reapplied.

Will your decals stick to my textured walls?

It depends on the amount of texture on your walls. Decals need a good surface area to stick to, and if your walls are very bumpy, this could create gaps in where it's applied, and your decal will either not stick to the wall during application, or fall off shortly after application. A lightly textured wall with large flat areas for the decal to stick to would be much more successful than a wall with a cottage cheese texture. Tip: If your walls are textured, but you love the look of lettering and decal designs on your walls, apply your decal to a painted board, sign or glass in a frame instead. This will allow you to put your design anywhere, and you can move it around if needed.

Are decals easy to apply?

Yes! As long as you follow the instructions included with your order, you should have no issues. The instructions I send are meant to be simple and easy-to-follow, with some emphasis on taking your time so you achieve the right outcome.

What is your return policy?

I only accept returns for unused, non-personalized items for a full refund. You are also responsible for measuring your space prior to purchasing. I will not issue a refund if you didn’t measure ahead of time and think your decal is either too big or too small. Please pay attention to the measurements.

✶ Matte vinyl works best when it is applied to smooth surfaces. Avoid heavily textured walls. (see video link below)
✶ DO NOT apply to a fresh-painted surface. Allow two weeks for paint to cure before applying decal
✶ Note from the vinyl manufacturer: Special precaution should be used when applying vinyl to "Low VOC" or "Zero VOC" painted walls as these paints may not allow the vinyl adhesive to stick to the wall.
