The suburban landscape paintings in my “Close to Home" series focus on the neighborhood immediately around my home. These images are firmly rooted in place and reflect the tight orbit of my small life with small children. Taking the time to notice and compose paintings from the ordinary scenes outside my front door has been challenging and personally rewarding.

I’d been eyeing this piece of Barb’s for quite some time and am so happy with my purchase. Love everything about it-the painting itself and the craftsmanship of the inset painting and frame. I was happy to see the title of the work and artist signature penned on the back as well.
