This may include slight discoloration, minor end grain cracking, or the occasional dark spot. We do our very best to create a beautiful product, but we do not throw away wood that some may consider "flawed" due to its natural characteristics. There are a lot of blocks on Etsy, but none quite as sweet as ours. Each one of our blocks are handcrafted in the USA; made in our shop & by our hands from beginning to end. We don't order pre-cut blocks from a generic company - we use salvaged wood we've hunted or FSC certified material only. We mill it, cut it, sand it, engrave it and then go over it again to create a beautiful, timeless keepsake that is sanded to perfection.
