Photos are extra special after a loss (or anytime, for that matter). Our fine quality stainless steel heart picture locket is a beautiful and lasting photo keepsake where you can carry the image of a lost loved one (or pet) with you always.
Our picture locket necklace comes blank on both the front and back, but if you would like us to engrave a name, initials, dates or short verse (see ordering instructions for ordering engraving below) we can do this for an additional charge.
Our heart picture locket necklace is not meant to hold ashes, but is made from durable 316L stainless steel that will not tarnish, resists scratching and is hypo-allergenic. It opens with a hinge on the side. This beautiful piece measures approx. 1 & 1/4" long (including the bail) by 1" wide, and 1/8" wide on the side. The picture locket heart itself, not including the bail, is approximately the size of a quarter.
We include your choice of chain - an 18" stainless steel Ball or Rolo chain, a 20” stainless steel Curb chain or an 18” black satin cord so that you can wear your beautiful photo keepsake jewelry right away or give it as a thoughtful gift to someone in your life grieving a loss.

To Order Engraving…
Our picture locket comes blank on the front and back. If you would like us to add engraved text to the piece for you, here’s how to order.
1. Decide on your engraving text. You can have us engrave a name, dates, initials or short verse. Each line = 9 letters, numbers, punctuation marks or spaces max. Examples of one-line engraving include names, initials or very short verse – Love you, Peace, Forever, Always. If you want a name and dates, this will not fit on one line.
2. Decide where on the piece you want the engraved text to appear, front, back, or both sides. If you do choose both sides, please tell us which text you want on the front and which should go on the back in the “Notes to Seller” area when you place your order.
3. Once you know what you want to engrave and where you want it, choose the number of lines of engraving you need from the dropdown menu at the top of the listing.
4. Enter your engraving text in the box in the listing after you choose the number of lines of engraving you need. Please be sure to check your text for spelling, capitalization, spacing and punctuation. We will engrave your text EXACTLY as you supply it to us. IF YOU SUPPLY MORE THAN 9 letters, numbers, punctuation marks or spaces per line, and we cannot reach you, we will edit your engraving to fit our engraving specifications so your piece ships promptly.
5. Choose a font for the engraved text – script looks like cursive handwriting, block looks like typed text. Please put your font choice in the “Note to Seller” area of the order form. If you do not choose a font, our engraver will make the selection for you.
6. Place your order and please include an email address that you monitor regularly. If we do have questions, we'll need to get in touch with you and have an answer back right away. You can rest assured that your personalized cremation jewelry is being made with care and attention and will ship to you as soon as it's ready.
Unfortunately, engraved items are not returnable.

A note about inserting pictures:
Unfortunately we are not set up to insert a photo into these picture lockets. However, the process is not hard. You can do an online search to find step by step guides on how to do this.
If you’re comfortable using a word processing program, you can work with the inner dimensions, create a picture box that size and import your image. You may find it helpful to copy and paste the image in the document a few times, so when it prints you have some spare copies of the photo. You print this document at home.
If you’re not comfortable with a computer, you can take your photo to a retail photo center and have them use the inner dimensions to size and print the picture that you will cut and insert in the locket at home. Again, we suggest having a few copies of the photo at the right size.
Some tips for cutting a photo:
Be sure to work in a well lit area on a clean, flat surface.
Have sharp scissors or another cutting tool ready. Cut to the shape of the locket.
You will need steady hands and slow, careful cutting to get the picture to the size and shape you need.
Once you have the photo cut to size, you can gently insert it inside the locket. A toothpick or another small, flat tool can help with this.
