We make this beeswax lip tint with wax sourced from our own hives and from the hives of other local beekeepers in Kansas City. This lip tint is simple, moisturizing and colored with natural minerals. Natural flavoring oils give it a subtle fresh mint flavor. This blackberry purple color goes on sheer, giving you the perfect glow while it moisturizes. We love it and hope you do too! The name "Cherokee Purple" comes from an heirloom tomato variety. All of our lip tint colors are named after heirloom tomatoes! Awesome beeswax facts: Beeswax is a blend of around 300 components and at least 48 contribute to the aroma. It is naturally white but is colored by pigments that are found in the pollen that bees collect. The bees need food to be able to produce wax and it takes between 5½ and 8 lbs of honey to make 1 lb wax comb. The average worker bee produces about 1/12th teaspoon of honey in her lifetime.
