Four colors work really well for a multi-color look or for a white-light-gray-dark-gray + pink or blue or green.

The 3-color version is ideal for making it with your favorite team colors, and adding football or basketball buttons!

These make very sweet photo props, and the sleep sack is also GREAT for swaddling newborns. So cozy for nursing!

The sleep sack is a back-and-forth knitting project, and uses US 8 (5mm) knitting needles. The hat is made in-the-round, and requires a circular US 10 (6mm) needle and dpn's the same size. All the yarn is worsted (#4 medium, Aran). There is an additional PDF file with yarn and needle conversion information, as American terms vary from other places in the world.

I have written this pattern with the novice in mind: Very thorough instructions and only knit, purl, k2tog and kfb, and picking up stitches for the button plackets, and super simple buttonholes. I am available for any advice you need via email.

Permission is written on the pattern for you to sell these, if you like. They make a wonderful baby shower gift!

About downloading onto a tablet or phone:
You must log in to your Etsy account through the web browser and look in the Purchases area up at the top right of the page to find the invoice and the link to click, rather than trying to download from within the Etsy app, or from a link in your confirmation email. That just doesn't seem to work.
