~Description~
Bound in a single thick piece of vegetable tanned leather, the same great quality leather that we make our carved books from, the cover of this journal is left plain. We make this one for those of you that prefer the natural, unadorned look of leather. Once we have hand cut the cover we give it a beautiful antiqued finish that picks out the natural markings in the leather. This makes each book unique and the tone and grain of your journal may vary from the image shown. The covers are held closed by two cords finished with leather beads.

With its large size it's great for those of you with a lot to write about. It makes a great personal journal, desk diary or guest book.

~Size & Binding~
32cm x 23cm x 3.5cm (12.5 x 9 x 1.5 inches)
Approximately 250 pages (500 sides) of A4 sized, unlined, recycled, paper.
The pages in this book are hand bound using a strong waxed cord. No glue is used, so the spine of the book cannot be broken, our binding is strong and permanent.

~Paper~
Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour. It has a matt appearance, is slightly textured and it takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding'.
It's of archival quality which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!

~Personalisation~
We can add up to five letters (name or initials) to the bottom right corner of the front cover at no additional cost. We can add more text for a little extra.

Fantastic 500 page journal. Makers are a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent. This is now my go to store for my annual Journal. Beautiful cover and paper. Love the threaded binding which is bulletproof unlike the glued book bindings which I am used to and which always failed. Consider an embossed design and initials on the cover. They do an awesome job on these. I would give them six stars if I could.
