large, practical messenger satchel / briefcase that can be put to brilliant use as a twist on a traditional briefcase or a weekend bag big enough to take all you need to get away for a couple of days. single source, british saddlery grade leather gives the bag strength and durability and will protect laptops, tablets etc. featuring the signature catherine edwards oversized buckle, an adjustable shoulder strap, a shoulder protector and the option of adding a practical top handle.

this satchel was inspired by the need to create a much larger version of the A4 satchels I had already been making. I was asked to come up with something that would be large and protective enough to take a laptop and document folders, and that could be taken on the daily train commute but would look smart enough to be taken in business meetings and courtrooms.

my products are not mass produced, they are hand crafted using finest quality british bridle leather. all products are hand cut and hand stitched. I carry a small amount of stock, however, I find that customers are happy to wait for a high quality handmade product. I produce most products in up to 13 colours and many of them can be personalised with initials etc. once I have your order I will need to order leather in your required colour and then hand make your product. I will try to do this so that it is ready for shipping within 2-3 weeks, however, if you need it sooner please contact me and I will see if I already have it in an alternate colour or can rush the order

many of my products offer the ability to personalise them by adding up to 2 initials on the product. some products also allow you to add optional hand stitched handles and to choose between brass and chrome buckles for example. if you need further customisation not shown against the product please contact me and I will be happy to discuss further
