Vintage brooche art nouveau rose gold diamond lilly pond Japanese inspired

Early art nouveau brooche, lilly pad motif is remarkable. Maker is unidentifiable, but this piece is immpecible crafted by a true artisan . Had appraised and it is and old minded diamond,intricately cut.
You can see this starting with the etched veins in the leaves to the tiny stamins in the center of the lilly, all parts are intricately hand crafted out of rose gold, with the metal being two toned (lilly pads look like brass) for a beautiful contrast of gold metals, branch leaves and flower are shaped into naturalistic form by their rounded and concaved shapes--making the motif very showy and appealing to the eye. The diamond is old mine diamond (2 jewelers verified) with hundreds of cuts that added high brilliance to this diamond, I wish I could list a video to show you the sparkles.

Note also how the diamond (1/8") was set up side down like a cone so the reflective qualities would be enhanced. The clasp is superb too, it fits snuggly into the fitting and bounces nicely in and out of place. Total weight is 4.5 grams, over length is 2", 1/2" width, 3/8" height

Stunning piece that I stumbled across when picking items from a private seller. It was completely disregarded and dirty when purchased it this year. I am happy to share it with you so the beautiful stick pin can be adored again, as it should be..
