Please measure yourself with a soft tape measure before purchasing clothing items! These are worth the small investment if you are going to purchase any online vintage clothing item. An alternative is to measure a well fitting garment. I measure in inches, laid flat and then double it , except length. I try to mention if the fabric stretches and if it is meant to be worn loose. Please feel free to ask for more measurements if I have left something out. Thank you!

Vintage clothes and condition

If you are a vintage clothing veteran you know its very rare to find a vintage piece that is absolutely 100% perfect, slight signs of age ( fading, loose threads, tiny snag)are part of the allure of knowing a woman 60 years ago felt beautiful wearing this garment! That being said, I always look at a garment with a critical eye and ask, would I wear this? Stains, tears, holes, will always be pointed out, However,I may miss a small imperfection here and there, however this is not purposeful and I would never try to deceive a customer. I want satisfied customers!

Not sure how to care for your vintage garment? I always launder anything I think is washable, before listing. I wash sturdy items on delicate in a front loader with all natural detergent, pre-spotting if necessary. I also hang to dry, never use the dryer! Delicate items are hand washed, soaked and laid flat to dry. If I feel it is dry clean only, I will dry clean, if it has a smell or is soiled. My items will come to you ready to wear. I do not sell dirty garments.

How do you calculate shipping?

I weigh the item in the packaging it will be sent in when creating the listing, so the actual cost to you is my cost as well, I do not pad my shipping charges and do not charge handling fees. Some items I can offer a combined shipping discount on if they are not heavy or bulky, convo me!

I do not accept returns, my business is so small and labor intensive that it is just not possible. I try diligently to mention everything I can in the listing to ensure your satisfaction but I am human, so if I get measurements mixed up or totally miss something horrible, let me know! If you just don’t like your item or you find out you really look bad in pink after all, why not give it to someone else and make their day or re-sell it on Etsy!
