It is considered standard practice to seal certain vugs or small pits that may appear in a cabochon with clear epoxy. This ensures a smooth, consistent surface when the stone is polished. We will only mention this in a listing if considerable work was done to seal imperfections.

We try and take our photos outdoors in natural sunlight. When it's not possible to do so we take them indoors with multiple light sources. We avoid enhancing or manipulating photos in editing software, but may if we feel the need to make obvious corrections. We do our best to ensure the photos represent the items, however, note we're all viewing the photos from different monitors with different settings. As a result there may be some color variation between what you see on your screen and the item itself.

Yes, we will combine shipping for multiple items where appropriate. In these cases we will refund the difference on the shipping after we have mailed out the items.

We will only list cabochons if they meet our high standards: even domes and bezels, no visible flat spots or scratches, and high polish. We want you to be happy with the stones, and take pride in the piece of custom jewellery you set them in.

Some of the items in our shop are handmade by us, and others are vintage stones cut many years ago which we have accumulated in our collection. We state the status of each item in the listing.
