Lake Superior Agate Necklace in Solid Sterling Silver with Yellow Eye Agate

As a family we spend quite a bit of time spring through fall out agate hunting in the Lake Superior region. I cut the tiny stone in this piece from a pebble size Lake Superior agate we found in northern Wisconsin. This pretty little yellow and white eye agate measures about 8 mm across. The solid .925 sterling silver setting is textured with a northern forest design on the front. I make my own silver sheet metal using recycled sterling silver so much of the silver in this piece is recycled. I cut these Lake Superior shapes out by hand. The silver is polished. The pictured chain is solid sterling silver and is 20 inches in length. The pendant measures about 34 W x 20 H in mm. This is a perfect gift for anyone who loves the big lake. Love the pendant but don't need a chain - choose the Pendant Only option. The bail opening for this pendant is about 2.5 mm which means that the end of your chain must be smaller than 2.5 mm to fit through the bail.

Our stones are mirror polished and so there will be reflections in the pictures. We take pictures in direct bright light that simulates what your stone will look like in direct sunlight. Stones look very different in low or artificial light. If it's dark when you receive them you can use the flashlight feature on your smart phone to see what they will look like in daylight. If you are new to semi precious stones please understand that these stones are natural and were found or dug from the earth. These are not faceted altered or manmade stones you see in stores. Natural stones (especially agates) may have features that would be considered flaws in a faceted stone or manufactured stone. Natural stones can have internal fractures, natural holes or geode areas. If there are features we as professional lapidary artists feel may detract from a stone we do our best to describe them in the listing description and show them in the pictures.We charge based on size and quality of the stone as well as market factors. We don’t dabble in the art of stone cutting. Brian is a full time lapidary artist so if you buy from us you are buying a high quality stone made by an experienced professional artist. Shipping: The free shipping for our shop is USPS Ground Advantage. The upgraded shipping is USPS Priority Mail. The charge for upgrading shipping covers the increased shipping cost to send priority mail. Keep in mind we have no control over USPS shipping times or errors. Both options include up to $100 in insurance. Both shipping choices include tracking. USPS tracking includes a GPS signature when the package is scanned delivered. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your packages once they are scanned delivered. Happy Agate Studio will not issue refunds for packages reported not received that were scanned delivered.

Returns: Message us to initiate a return. We accept returns within 14 calendar days of your package being scanned delivered. Day one is the day following it's scanned delivery date. Buyer pays for return shipping. Buyer is responsible for any damage to the item during it's return so we recommend using a shipping method that includes insurance and packaging it securely similar to as we did upon sending it. Returned items must be in undamaged, unused, unworn, unaltered condition. Otherwise you are responsible for any loss in value. Returns must be sent with tracking. Buyer must message us the tracking number and tracking must show carrier receipt of the package by day 14 of our return window. Upon receipt of your return we will refund you according to Etsy's guidelines.
