A handmade felt Christmas heart ornament, embroidered with a traditional Irish cottage in a snowy winter landscape, under a full moon and starry night sky.
To make these hearts, I layer and stitch felt shapes to create the background, then sew on the cottage and its roof and the moon, and embroider the berry branches, stars and other details before adding the plain felt back and the filling.

The heart measures approx. 4 inches / 10cm across, is decorated on the front with a plain felt back, and has a cotton loop for hanging.
