I am excited to introduce vintage olive drab waxed canvas watch straps. The canvas for these straps is sourced from old Vietnam era military bags that is waxed with an in-house blend of fabric wax. Vintage canvas takes to waxing wonderfully. The wax darkens up the olive drab coloration several shades and helps to highlight some of the wear and fading that makes vintage canvas unique. The result is a watch strap with a rich olive color that has a mottled appearance with a light sheen and a slight waxy feel. The canvas takes on a leather-like quality, has extremely durability, and gets better with age!

Each strap is handcrafted by me one at a time in my workshop in Colorado. They are assembled using a waterproof neoprene cement, waxed with my own blend of fabric wax, and saddle stitched with a high quality polyester thread.

SIZING
I offer these in 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm widths and 125mm/ 75mm length to fit most averaged sized wrists. If you require a specific size of strap that is not listed please don't hesitate to get in touch. I can make canvas straps in virtually any width to accommodate non-standard lug sizes and will be happy to customize length to best fit your wrist. These are straight style straps with a buckle and a floating keeper. Average thickness is around 3.5mm.

BUCKLES
The strap ships with your choice of a high quality thumbnail or pre-v style brushed, screw type buckle.

THREAD COLOR
I try to choose a thread type that best compliments the weight of canvas and style of strap. For the vintage waxed canvas I have chosen a heavier weight, high quality polyester thread that I feel best compliments the rugged nature of vintage waxed canvas. I currently have 7 colors of heavy weight polyester thread. The strap shown is stitched with light beige. If you have your heart set on a particular stitch color that isn’t shown just send me a message and I will see what I can do.

Straps are made to order and the photographs are representative of the strap you will receive. If you require a specific size or length of strap or other changes such as sewn in keepers or tapered straps please contact me and I'll be happy to accommodate you.
