To make this item, I start by drawing an illustration by hand. That illustration is then etched into birch wood using a laser, and finally, the ornament gets packaged in a box with everything needed to paint and hang it. Each kit comes with an instruction label with a suggested color mockup on the back, but it's easy to mix your own colors by combining shades of paint as well. With several designs available in a limited run from September through December each year, these kits make great gifts for anyone on your list--or yourself!

☆ The kits are approximately 5" by 7"
☆ The ornaments themselves range from approximately 3.5" x 4" inches to 2.5" x 6" inches
☆ The kraft box for each kit has a clear plastic window to protect the contents
☆ While anyone can do this kit, I think it's perfect for adults and older children. For families with very young children who may be young to paint, I recommend they purchase a plain wooden ornament in the same design (also available in my shop) and have their children color it with colored pencils or markers, which also works great!

**Please note: your first choice design may not be available as the holiday season progresses. If I could, I would love to never run out of any of the designs! But last year, with lumber shortages and other pandemic supply chain gaps, some of the designs did run out, and that may happen again this year. If you order a design that has sold out, I will send you a private message so you can choose a different design, or you will have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
