Hummingbird suction 6-inch test tube vase measures approximately 9 inches finished (without arrangement). Includes dried flowers and botanicals. Also holds fresh-cut buds and plant cuttings for rooting. A perfect gift for the bird lover or nature lover on your list.

A beautifully detailed brass hummingbird has been hand-colored and dusted with glitter then adhered to a glass test tube with a suction cup permanently attached.
You choose the color of wire that I will wrap around the vase. I include a homegrown bouquet of dried botanicals but I encourage you to bring the outdoors in and fill your beautiful bud vase with fresh-cut flowers or foraging of native plants, twigs, and tree cuttings.

This decorative window accessory also works beautifully as a rooting vase for houseplant cuttings and herbs.
The glass test tube can hold fragrant essential oils and diffuse the scent into the air and freshen up a powder room.

Suction cups work best on a clean, dry smooth surface. By applying a slight smear of Vaseline or oil onto the suction cup prior to hanging gives the best adhesion. The oil, cooking oil works great, seals the suction and does not evaporate as moisture will.

Lifetime repair without cost is provided on all my suction vases. All that is required is the return postage of $3.25.

APPLICATION:
Any smooth surface using a slight smear of oil on the suction cup and press firmly.
any type of oil will do but DO NOT LICK AND STICK! Moisture will evaporate and the suction will release.
In my kitchen, I love filling my bud vases with herbs. The sight and scent of the herbs brighten the room. The vase can keep the herbs fresh for a couple of days and then use them in your cooking.
In the powder room, I hang one on the mirror with a diffusing stick, essential oil, and a silk flower. This brightens and freshens the room.

REPAIR POLICY:
No worries. Lifetime cost-free repair. Return vase and $3.25 return postage.

CARE:
To keep flowers fresh, recut stems and change water daily. Use a small amount of course salt and dish soap to clean off the film on the inside of the vase.

Suction flower vases are designed in two sizes:

3 INCH VASE
Glass tube size - 3 inch (7.5 cm) x 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) Finished design size varies from 3.5 to 5.5 inches long. Can hold a single stem such as a rose or 5 stems of an assortment of fresh flowers. Flower stems are very thin for the majority of species. The suction cup measures 7/8 inch (2.3cm) and is rated to hold 2 pounds (0.9kg) of weight!

6 INCH VASE
Glass tube - 6 inches (15cm) x 3/4 inch (2cm). Finished design is approximately 8-9 inches (20-25cm) long. Suction cup size 2 inches (5cm) rated to hold 5 pounds (2.27kg) of weight.
All glass tubes and suction cups are made in the USA.

Vases are made of glass so that they can be cleaned and returned to pristine condition. Plastic would become cloudy and stained after holding plant material.
Clean inside glass tube with a small amount of course salt and warm sudsy water. The salt acts like an abrasive to clean off debris and will not scratch the glass. Outside design should be dusted with a soft paint brush. Any silver design pieces can be rubbed with dry baking soda to remove tarnish. Be sure to clean suction cup and glass surface before replacing vase to its display surface.
Apply a slight film of oil (cooking oil or petroleum jelly) to suction cup before pressing firmly inplace. Water on suction cup will not work well; it evaporates!

The hummingbird vase I ordered was the perfect gift for mother's day! My mom was beyong happy and in love with it, she immediately placed it on our fridge.
