Each tart is hand poured using 100% natural coconut wax. Not only do I have a variety of scents I also customize the scents and colors to order. I enjoy scent hunting so if you are looking for something specific I will find a way to bring that scent to your home with my creations.

The tarts are 100% natural coconut wax that burns cleaner, longer, and holds scents better than any Soy or Paraffin wax.

What is Coconut Wax and Why do I use it?

First of all, the common candle, tart, or melt you find at a retail store is Paraffin wax. Paraffin wax is a petroleum product and produces a lot of soot when burned. That isn't good for you or our environment. A common alternative to the crafting lifestyle is Soy Wax. While Soy wax burns a little cleaner, last longer and holds sents better than Paraffin, it is not nearly as good a candle medium as coconut wax.

Coconut wax is the best wax for candles, tarts and melts. Coconut wax comes from the cold-pressed coconut pulp in the same way coconut oil is harvested (B, 2016). Coconut wax burns at lower temperatures than Soy and Paraffin so a Coconut wax candle will last a lot longer. Coconut wax is also organic and more eco-friendly to produce so coconut wax candles, when made with the right scents, are a smarter buy. They also hold scents equally throughout the medium. So a coconut wax candle will smell the same full fragrance in the first and last hour of its life (Kelp BK, 2017).
