Drycleaning your item would be the safest option. If you're on a tight budget: a gentle soak in a big container or tub will also work. Let dry flat. As for ironing: low setting, no steam on satin and tulle! If any other questions, just ask!

I use my adjustable mannequin to check measurements, but as those are non-pliable, unlike humans, the garments are much more forgiving on a real live person. You will find measurements for each item in the listing description.

I don't see many sales in your shop. Why is that?

I live in Europe, where Etsy isn't very known yet, so most of my sales do not go through Etsy. Most sales happen through my social media or in person. If you want so see my past custom orders, please check out the website.

Why does your address only state a city?

Because it's my personal home address. If you're in the area and would love a fitting, you're more than welcome.

Will my order be insured during shipping?

For most orders outside the EU, I cannot provide a fully covered insurance. For example, the USA will not accept orders with 100% insurance unless the shipping fee is equal to the value of the product. I'm so sorry for this. For anything in the EU, I try to use the best company with fully covered insurance.

READY TO SHIP

This handmade green velvet dress is inspired by the glamorous 1950's Hollywood gowns. It features a curve-hugging mermaid silhouette with a circle mini-train. The dress is lined with a stretchy lining and the velvet itself is also very stretchy, making it ridiculously comfortable to wear.
The skirt is hemmed with synthetic horsehair braid, making the train stand out on itself.
The dress closes at the back with an invisible zipper and has extra straps to prevent accidents. The unique fold-over sleeves are supported by boning, as is the bodice.
The (fake) fur stole finishes the vintage bomb-shell look and is completely optional (+€25, won't be sold separately). It's made of a very soft fur and closes with a satin ribbon.
