This Ray is made using the copper foil method, "Tiffany Method" of stained glass construction and involves wrapping the edges of glass with a copper foil tape. Then pieces are then joined by 60 tin/40 lead soldering to join them together on both front and back which creates a metal framework that holds the glass pieces together. I then clean and polish to make the solder shine.

Beautiful! Bought this as a birthday present for my daughter who went diving that morning before opening her gifts. She saw 5 spotted eagle rays on her dive. I’d say it was meant to be. Prefect gift.
