This is a functioning all wood latch (box not included). It installs FLUSH with the surface of the box it's installed in.

I offer this as an upgrade to my boxes, chests, and urns or to DIY woodworkers who want to use them in their own projects.

This is designed to be fitted into a mortise that is routed out where the lid and bottom of a box meet, installed, and then sanded flush with the face.

For woodworkers I can sell you a template for use with a flush router bit.

Recommended bit: Amana Tool - 47224-S Miniature Flush Trim Plunge Template 1/4 Dia x 1/4 Shank

DIMENSIONS: 1" wide x 2" tall x 3/8" thick

IMPORTANT: They require minimum of 1/2" wall thickness in the box they're installed in.
