Each pair of earrings begins life as a piece of 20 gauge wire, which is carefully bent into shape following the guide of my hand drawn template. Once shaped, the piece is hammered, reshaped, and hammered again. This creates a strength and structure in the earrings. The ear wires have been rounded and smoothed for comfortable wear.

Gold filled wire is created by wrapping a layer of 14K gold wire. The layer of karat gold provides the benefits of solid gold wire (no tarnish & no allergies), without the price tag of solid gold wire. Gold filled wire is considered a lifetime product, suitable for heirloom jewelry.
