Made of 14K yellow gold filled (not gold plated). The discs and ear wires are polished to a high sheen.

Measurements:

The discs are 9 mm in diameter each approximately.
The length of each earring is 2.9 cm (1.1 inches) from the top of the wire hook to the bottom of the dangling circle approximately.

The earrings will come nicely packed.

Gold filled is a solid layer of gold bonded to another metal. Gold filled is legally required to contain 1/20 gold by weight. This is described as the karat of the gold. 14k gold filled products are 14/20 gold filled.

Gold filled is tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic, and a quality alternative to solid gold. Jewellery made with gold filled has the same look as solid gold without the high price tag of solid gold.

Gold filled should not be confused with gold plated. Gold plated jewellery will generally wear off rather quickly and expose the inner base metal (brass). It does not stand up to heat, water or wear over time.
