5 out of 5 starsThe ramie fiber is soft, has a lovely sheen, and spins into a fine, strong thread that will be perfect for crocheted lace projects. This fiber will blend well with silk. I am completely satisfied with the quality of this product and I am happy to have found a source for ramie.

Currently spindling to a laceweight yarn on a beautiful spindle from SpindleLady (thank you, Lena Ekelund!) Needs a lot more twist than you would expect with this staple lentgh, but with a good top-whorl like this it is doable and really fun. Very strong, shiny yarn, will probably use for weaving.
