Since 2003 Floto leather bags have been produced by hand using old world craft methods and modern technology. This leather travel bag was artisan made in Tuscany, Italy.

The Leather: At Floto, we work with different kinds of leather to make our travel and duffle bag collections. Every duffel bag style is made with 100% genuine leather. We prefer vegetable tanned leather because it is strong, flexible, and has deep, rich color tones without any harsh chemicals. This particular bag is made with a hand stained oil finish leather which has been used to make travel bags in Italy for centuries. The Saddle Brown colored leather has rich color tones with a matte (oil) finish that gives it an old school look. Scratches easily recover by rubbing the leather and over time Roma leather travel bags soften and develop a beautiful patina.

Components: This leather travel bag was made with brass YKK zipper and an extra long Floto zipper pull for easy operation. The plaid lining of this travel bag matches the durability and heritage of our hand stained leather. The bottom of this leather bag is protected by 5 brass feet. Includes detachable and adjustable shoulder strap.

The Roma Collection was inspired by the Italian leather travel bags from the 50s and 60s. Our Roma loop handle design and thick "oil finish" leather are reminiscent this era.

The Floto Roma Travel Bag is crafted from full grain vegetable tanned Italian calfskin leather and finished with a brass zipper and hardware. Two fast access zip pockets are big enough for any size smartphone (8" x 8"). The sleeve pocket comes in handy on the go (6" x 9"). Made in Italy.
