This quick and easy pattern features an outer handle for easy carrying as well as a zipper that goes around the corner, allowing the pouch to be opened wide for easy access. To prevent items falling out the side, it has a gusset which is also sewn to the bottom so everything is nice and secure. It also has a tiny boxed corner to give the pouch some dimension.

The pouch takes very minimal supplies and, in fact, two entire pouches can be cut from one fat quarter, making it a scrap busting project! The only other requirements to complete the pouch are fusible batting and a zipper. That's it!! So, if you're looking for a quick and easy sew, this pattern is for you!!

I honestly didn’t understand the sewing of gusset ( beginner here, first gusset) and messed it up but it still made a nice pouch without it. I am using it for a first aid pouch for in my work bag ( bandaids, tweezers etc). I cut myself once a week usually while working. I love the end result, simple and cute.

Easy to follow pattern and excellent video showing every stage of the make. The pouch turned out well though if you can only get zips in cm lengths not inches, it's best to make a zip tab at the bottom end as the fit will not be exact.
